Then our campsite is the right one for you, whether you have your own caravan, motorhome or tent. Everyone is welcome!
At Hillerød Camping we have green grass, no numbered pitches and it is therefore not possible to reserve a specific pitch before arrival. But fear not! We’ll take you by the hand and on a tour when arriving to find the site that suits you best.
Our different areas of the site each have their own unique charm and we make a virtue of finding a place where you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
We have a few seasonal pitches, but only in the spring and late summer seasons.
Parken is ideal for families with small children in tents and others who need to be close to the kitchen and service building. The playground is located here and the service building has a baby changing room, family bathroom, coin laundry and more. Parken is both sunny and shaded because of the tall, beautiful trees. We also have outdoor showers with hot water where you can take a nice bath under the open sky (these are closed private shower rooms).
In Palmehaven we have space for tents, caravans and motorhomes. In the middle of Palmehaven is a car-free area, so if you stay here, you must park in one of our parking spaces - this is to avoid having too much traffic on site and to allow for larger spaces for each guest. You are also close to "La Quist Veranda", which is our small, cozy terrace area close to the reception and service buildings.
The campsite is ideal for caravans and motorhomes. Here you have plenty of space, open spaces with views of the beautiful lime trees and in some places a view of the spires at Frederiksborg Castle. The pampas is surrounded by a lot of flower boxes filled with pampas grasses and other vegetation.
Plantagen is a lovely quiet area ideal for tents and caravans and for guests without small children. At Plantagen you'll find a small cozy terrace area with a manor swing, paradise apple trees along the hedge and you can enjoy our new, landscaped planting beds with perennials and various grasses, among other things.
At Prærien you'll find large, lovely pitches, some of which are close to the service building and others near our smaller toilet cabin. On Prærien you'll find a small relaxing cozy area with benches, plants and a manor swing. This is also where our 6 beautiful comfort cabins are located along the hedge.
